I really think that couples these days are spending too much money on weddings. Why are they doing this? It's all just too disgusting to me. I will never know why people do this. Sure, if you have loads of money then you should be allowed to do what you want with it. But there are couples that have little to no money and even have bad credit. Yet they are taking out a loan to pay for a wedding. Don't they realize that a lot of marriages break up because of money problems?!

There are so many things that can break a couple up, I think it's really bad for people to take out a loan. Perhaps a small loan to pay for the ring or something like that is OK but when you're talking about figures like $20,000 it's just stupid. Also, being able to afford a home is difficult enough as it is. I just don't get this at all. You don't have to have a really big and fancy wedding. I mean, if you're going to invite 200 people to a wedding, how can you really know them all that well? Wouldn't it be better for them to have a smaller wedding and just have very close friends and family there. At the end of the day, that's what really matters.
